I enjoy listening to Michael Kern also as a facilitator. He has a calming voice which can place one in a different state. This is a fascinating discussion particularly concerning the different ways to articulate experience of integration in the body.

Talking is counterproductive during CS work. There are other types of therapies that are great as body centered work for emoting. This is s quiet therapy which requires stillness and noticing the slight changes in respiration, circulation, flow. The nervous system will work itself out with the skills of a good CS practitioner. This therapy is otherwise known as much of what is offered in the basic training provided in Osteopathic medical school. Like anything else, use varied treatments and approaches to achieve your goals.

Its all smooth talk to gullible vulnerable “marks” and it is expensive! Clap trap from people who are self-accredited and aggrandised. But if you want your bumps felt this is your man.

I'm not sure how nothing can create something, but for sure God's stillness is eternal peace. As practitioners, when we come into a ventral vagal state and hold a space of compassion for our clients, and trust to open up to and hand over control to God's stillness, healing miracles happen. As Jesus said to the storm, "Peace, be still" (Mark 4:39), the storms in our client's nervous systems, as well as our own, are calmed and healing happens. Certainly anything that creates must give rise to an expression of itself. Therefore to say that intelligent life. or any life for that matter, arose from nothing is a scientific oxymoron. But dynamic stillness is palpable and a place of reconciliation.
